Thank you for sharing this! I had this epiphany a few days ago. I notice that when I focus on ONE thing at a time I thrive. It allows me to focus my efforts & funnel my energy into doing something really well and perfect it (something a Generator enjoys).
That is how I found success in my photography business and I've felt scattered trying to do all the things. I had to remember why it worked before and it was because I focused on one offer, one marketing platform and one system to execute.
I recently made the decision to focus my efforts on growing my Substack with a few metrics for myself. Everything else feels exhausting or a tied to an identity that no longer speaks to who I am. I'm excited to see what consistency and focus brings over the next 3 months.
The alignment of this! I just posted my July newsletter and I said I’m focusing on growing my YouTube channel for the 2nd half of the year. I want to become a Master at what I want to do so I have to lock in and focus on one thing at a time.
This is generating so many thoughts. I’m craving simplifying everything to ONE offer…but I really need to sit with journal and pen because all the doubts surface.
. I use many offers as a way to serve different price points and needs. Can I do away with that?
. I’ll have to change my entire website and figure out what I need to say in terms of what’s the ONE problem I solve.
. What IS the one problem I solve?
. Can I weave everything I know and have taught into this single offer?
. There’s so much I’m interested in. Am I diluting myself by restricting my wisdom to a single offer?
I’m away from home till tomorrow evening but I’m serious about getting to the bottom of these inquiries.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom! This write up has prompted some important questions for me and also affirms the intuitive nudge I’ve felt to simplify and go deeper vs wider. 🤍
Love this!!! Thank you

As a multi-passionate, this is so helpful! Our energy is scattered trying to do everything at once. Focus is devotion.
Printing this and putting it on my fridge. Needed this so badly - thank you soooo much
