I failed too 🙋🏽‍♀️. And I’m more than ok with it!

MY failure led me to explore the possibility of getting a job (something I’ve resisted for years!).

I’m so fortunate and privileged that I have a degree in a professional field so there are some decent paying jobs I COULD go for. Except that I have a baby and no money for childcare and I can’t pay for childcare until I have a job. 🤦🏽‍♀️.

BUT... applying for a job meant that I had to write a CV - it’s been 7 years since I’ve had to do this.

And as I wrote my CV, I started to realise just how much I’ve grown. How many more skills I’ve mastered. How much I’ve actually DONE since I first began my entrepreneurial journey.

I began to see the value I have to offer any organisation. How they would be LUCKY to have someone with the huge range of (transferable) skillset that I have.

And I felt proud.

Proud of how much courage I had to even take the step to becoming an entrepreneur in the first place.

Proud of all the achievements, accolades and qualifications I could now add to my arsenal of what I have to offer.

Proud of how I showed up time and time again, believe in my vision so deeply, despite all the logical signs telling me to give up.

I started to anchor deeply into my own value.

I immediately got an offer for a interview.

That was so much fun... I realised how much more confident I was than the timid woman from 8 years ago, when I had my last interview.

Conversation flowed. I responded to the questions with ease and from a perspective not many others would likely have.

The interviewer googled my business during the interview because she was curious about it.

And she LOVED my website. She loved how I wrote. She loved the colours, she even fed back to me how my website gave her an immediate sense of peace and relief.

The website was a Labour of love... from back in my entrepreneurial infancy when I had no money to pay someone to design me a website so I watched hours of YouTube videos, taught myself coding, graphics and design, how to write copy and created my site.

Have I failed, then?

If failure means I’ve been successful in ways that go beyond the norms, that enliven my spirit, that afford me the lifestyle I always craved, connect me with the most magical and loving souls on the planet, allow me the time and space to do what I love, love what I do and be loved for all of it...

... then yes, I’ve failed.

And I love that I have.

3/5 profile here - we literally are designed to succeed through our failures and I’ve done exactly that!

If you’re feeling shitty about where you are at right now, I highly recommend applying for a few jobs and sitting in on interviews.

Maybe you’ll be stunned at how much you’ve achieved and how your soul is lit up by everything you’ve done while you’ve been busy trying to use other peoples’ frameworks and industry standards as a measuring stick for yourself.

THIS is how we get to dismantle the old paradigm and birth the new!

You do YOU, boo!

I hope these words ignite a spark in someone here who needed me to share this message.

Jas, do the soul maps include your interpretations? I have had several readings + I’d love to support your mission / I respect your input. Just would like to understand if it’s a general HD digest related to my definition or if it includes integration aspects for me personally. Does that make sense?

Hey Kristin, yes they do. Not only my interpretations but notes from 1:1 readings I've done over the years that give more of a lived experience to some of the design aspects that are actually being experimented with. We look at your design and in each of the parts we translate there are tips for that specific design aspect.

For example- High Sound determination is about acoustic sounds when eating but it's also about high volumes of information. My daughter is high sound and she's so keen on knowing why for everything. She wants to get deep into it, the subtle nuances. This has helped me to understand that when she's asking these questions she's actually eating. It's not only nourishing her brain physically to eat with harmonious music (I let her pick) but that we talk while we eat and as a Manifestor, I let her lead the conversation.

There's a little sample in the pictures on the product page- https://www.jasmoon.space/offerings/p/soulmap

hope that helps, let me know if you need more clarity

I really loved listening to this episode and the background music soooo good (is this your creation?)

You are one of two people I have stumbled across this year whose energy and soul I just love because it speaks to my own in a very specific way. You teach me through your own walk to continue to follow my path, to be courageously true to my soul and my voice and THAT is a rare gift.

So in my eyes you haven't failed, you have obeyed at the deepest level and that means you are exactly on time and where you need to be to create THE thing that you are called to bring into the world.

I am so glad that I discovered you just in time lol because it has already changed how I show up and in my own biz - I am definitely hoping to order a soul map.

Take care of yourselves, life is precious xxx

Thank you for this kind & heartfelt comment Florence. As a 3rd line one of the first things I had to internalize was that I have never made a mistake or failed once in my life. I hope we can continue to stir this narrative so that as creators and entrepreneurs we can feel free to play and create! The world needs our visions despite the many iterations it takes to get there.
