Seasonal Business Check-In
This Mercury Rx in Virgo is coming in with all the best qualities of Virgo, organizing, analytical & grounded. Being able to tap into these energies for my end of Summer review was inspiring, filled with epiphanies and clarity for next steps.
Monthly business check-ins are something I’ll always recommend but quarterly/seasonal reviews, once you start doing them, become a non-negotiable.
Seasonal business reviews have the ability to increase the growth & stability of our businesses. They slow us down enough to inquire & extract the refinements needed to clear obstacles & make entrepreneurship more like a creative endeavor than a challenge. When you take time for these seasonal business reviews, it’s easy to troubleshoot the areas in your business you feel “aren’t working”.
They can be done in tandem with the seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter or within your own personal season. I naturally create in a rhythm of 4 months at a time but for offers, I prefer checking in every 3 months. Once you understand the reasoning behind business reviews, you can make it your own.
This time, I sat quietly, with my tea and poured over the data, comments, and feedback shared in The Teahouse over the last 3 months. I saw what worked really well & what wasn’t going to be sustainable for myself and The Teahouse long term.
My seasonal review takeaways around The Teahouse:
I am in love with The Teahouse. In January of this year, I was calling in a career shift that could weave my love for tea, magazines, beauty, slow business, spirituality & wellbeing. I got it.
Time is an ally. With all the knowledge shared in workshops, classes & conversations, we’re welcoming an even slower pace & volume of content to support the kind of integration & embodiment needed for a truly sustainable business.
More premiers instead of live events. They work better for our global community that joins from various time zones. Naturally, making our live events much more special.
Shifting from monthly themes to Roadmaps. This will change everything, especially how members will connect to the growing library of business workshops, somatic practices & spiritual discourses.
Energy Fasting is returning. Refined & ready to be shared in her fullness.
Monthly Business Check-Ins are here to stay, obviously love these.
A 12-month member commitment begins Sept. 1st. While keeping our Drop-In Passes available for entrepreneurs who want to get a taste.
These simple tweaks will allow The Teahouse to effortlessly expand & give me more energy & space to create the extended arms of Erah, including our forthcoming editorial projects.
One thing about my personal process as an entrepreneur and as a 3/5 profile is that I HAVE TO create something first, accepting that the first few rounds will not be the final iteration.
I have to lean into the initial discomfort of starting exactly where I’m at instead of waiting for things to be perfect, they never will be.
As creative entrepreneurs, all we need is to first get paint on the canvas, stand back, then make the adjustments. Calling on the support from trusted friends, partners & community to reflect honestly so we can keep creating in ways that feel authentic & sustainable. Our businesses are designed to fit who we are, we’re not here to bend and contort, squeezing ourselves into an outdated paradigm that asks for your individuality in return for temporary success.
You can have it all.
If you want to have your own seasonal business review, here are my questions.
Seasonal Business Check-In Qs:
Gather any notable comments, feedback, emails & data from this past season to reference as you answer these questions.
Looking back over the last 3-6 months:
1. What has come to a natural completion in my business? What am I ready to let go of? (ex. offerings, modes of behavior, messaging, etc)
2. What’s still feeling good for me to continue? (ex. operations, offers, employees, messaging)
3. Where did I find myself bypassing my personal needs, boundaries or overgiving? Really check in with yourself here. Am I feeling resistant or afraid to make the necessary changes? Why? (i.e. saying no to clients, having firm hours, etc)
4. Am I still in alignment with the long-term vision of my business or has it changed?
5. Did I meet my seasonal/monthly revenue goals? Looking ahead, what shifts can I make to increase or meet them next season/month?
Write down what you’d like to see happen once you’ve implemented these changes. Come back to this answers at your next Seasonal Business Check In.
Thank you for your grace, kind words & continuous love for The Teahouse. Being in a space where the collective intention is for us as entrepreneurs to build businesses where we feel both healthy & prosperous has been healing in ways I didn’t know I needed.
remember, care for your energy first.

This concept feels so good to me. Yesterday, I started a seasonal life review and it was exactly what my body was calling for. Then I listened to your recent Satsang in the Teahouse where you mentioned this ritual and it was amazing reinforcement of the practice and what I was feeling, thank you. 🤍
I love this reflection. I will be working through the questions you offered later today. Thank you!
