In traditional Human Design, you'll know this as 'Profile'. It’s derived from two lines or numbers. The first one being your conscious personality and the second number being your unconscious body.
Your Public Role is the mask your business plays within the Marketplace. It’s also the pathway you’ll naturally follow to uncover your business model, offers & mission.
(Your mission is known as your Incarnation Cross but in BG5 it’s called your Life’s Work. We’ll get to this further down the line.)

Intro-
I experienced the biggest shift once I stopped saying ‘I am a 3/5 Gut Generator’ & started saying ‘I have a 3/5 Gut Generator business.’
A business that’s designed to adapt, set the trends & innovate. A business that’s designed to create the standards, prophecy yet offer practical solutions. Now I could check in from a compassionate & neutral place. While placing much-needed space between me and my business
Find your Public Role & ask yourself:
🍵 Does my current business accurately reflect my profile lines?
🍵 Where am I trying to make my business something it's not?
🍵 Am I hiding the natural gifts of my business?
🍵 Where can I return back to the true nature of my business so people can find me?
LINE 1- Authority (Investogator)
If you have a 1st line in your profile, your business is designed for research & development. You provide that good fear, the kind that builds knowledge based authority & a firm foundation over time. Your businesses's biggest contribution is in the kind of information that supports others in understanding specific topic(s) so they can better process their questions & uncertainties with more confidence.Be mindful that you don't get caught up in eternal studying, so much so that you never share your findings with others.

LINE 2- Natural (Hermit)
If you have a 2nd line in your profile, your business is designed for selectivity & a refined taste. You have a keen eye & ability to point out the seed of talent in others. Your businesses's biggest contribution is a healthy curiosity that presents as being able to see clearly & call out what makes someone special. People come to you when they want to see their spark & natural genius.Be mindful you’re not hiding away, making it hard for others to find your offers & hire you.

LINE 3- Pioneer (Martyr)
If you have a 3rd line in your profile, your business is designed for testing & tinkering aka quality control. You understand how the material plane works & doesn't. Your businesses's biggest contribution is in the wisdom of what needs to change, mutate, crossbreed or be burned down. People are coming to you when they're tired of trying everything & are ready for what works.Be mindful not to get down about your "failures". They're just successes you haven't figured out how to market yet.

LINE 4- Influencer (Opportunist)
If you have a 4th line in your profile, your business is designed for externalizing. You understand how to intimately & authentically connect with clients & customers. Your businesses's biggest contribution is in the way you listen intently to feedback, making it your secret weapon when it comes to creating offers others actually need. People are coming to you when they want to turn their community of customers into life long supporters.Be mindful to honor your personal boundaries. Stating your needs so you don’t end up overgiving or placing the other over you.

LINE 5- Messenger (Heretic)
If you have a 5th line in your profile, your business is designed for high standards & strong messaging. You know exactly what to say that will shape an entire industry. Your businesses's biggest contribution is in understanding that successful businesses are equal parts innovative & practical. They have to solve the problem & do it well. Leaving them with an unshakable reputation. People are coming to you when they’re ready to shift a business into a differentiated brand.Be mindful that you‘re not saying yes to every message. Remember, universalize not personalize. You’re not for everyone.

LINE 6- Leader (Role Model)
If you have a 6th line in your profile, your business will reflect differently given the phase of life you’re in. Before 30, your business will resemble 3rd line qualities. From 30-50, your business will be learning objectivity, self acceptance & gathering wisdom to become an exemplar in your field. From 50 on, your business will become a pillar for embodiment, enlightenment & futuristic ideals. People are coming to you for inspiration, mentorship & to learn how to build authentic trust with themselves.Be mindful to not rushing through each phase. Savor the pivots & changes as they come.

What do you mean in the line 1 description where you say provide that good kind of fear?
This was great! Using the language I have a 1/3 Sacral Generator Business! I’m currently writing my first book around my photography experience for other Black women & women of color photographers. I realized I’m called to share this knowledge but it took time to figure out the medium (i realized coaching wasn’t for me). I’m also making some updates in my business model to provide more nurturing and guidance to other women creatives via my talent agency. I feel more in tune and aligned with this new direction and output. This was spot on!!!
